IVF INDICATION AND CONTRAINDICATION IN Vitro fertilization is a complex series of procedures used to help with the fertility and conception of children through the artificial fertilization process. Vitro means glass therefore fertilization happens in the glass. Its advanced fertilization technique help with conditions to prevent genetic abnormalities. Some are the basic indications for In vitro fertilization or there are some diagnoses in which IVF is performed are tubal sterility, tubal peritoneal factor- when the egg cannot penetrate the uterine cavity you can try to restore patency by using laparoscopic surgery operation. Approximately 25-30% of women having infertility are found to have a pelvic inflammatory disease or tubal sterility, idiopathic infertility, endometriosis, age-related infertility, poor semen quality is the sole cause of infertility in about 20% of couples. Now comes to the contraindication of IVF there is no absolute contraindication for IVF however it should not be performed in women with morbidity and mortality in pregnancy. Some severe conditions include heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, severe valvularstenosis, for women with such medical  issues undergo IVF with oocytes aspiration, fertilization with their parent's sperm but the embryo will be transferred to a gestation carrier.
