Introduction to Fantastic Fruits • Managing Director- Rory • Marketing Director- Jessica • Design Director- Lauren • Financial Director- Gordon • We are going to talk to you today about our new smoothie business “Fantastic Fruits”. We will talk to you about what's in our smoothie, about the fruits, Logo and packaging and the cost. We hope you enjoy it.

  3. Ingredients In our smoothies we have used fresh fruit to make sure its as healthy and fresh as possible. The ingredients we have used in this fresh smoothie are: • 200ml of apple juice • 5 cubes of Ice • 7 large strawberries • 6 frozen raspberries • 5-7 pieces of fresh mango

  4. FF!! Graphics and packaging Our packaging is bright and colourful and we have tried to make it easy to remember and attractive to children of the age group nine-fourteen. We chose the colours and images carefully for our packaging so it was fun, playful and easy to remember. For our packaging, we wanted to make it easy to see that the Smoothie is aimed for kids. We wanted it to show that our smoothie is healthy and child friendly. Our logo is bright and colourful. We made it eye-catching and easy to remember too.

Facts on the fruits we use… Mango – • The first Mango was grown in India over 5000 years ago. • They are the most popular fruit in the world. • Mangoes provide 100% of your daily vitamin c. • A mango tree can grow up to 100 ft tall. Strawberries – • Can have up to 200 seeds on the outside. • Strawberries are the first fruit to ripen in Summer. • Strawberries, as part of a 5 a day fruit & vegetable program, can help reduce the risk of cancer & heart attacks. • Over 53% of 7-9 year olds picked strawberries as their favourite fruit.

More facts about the fruits we use… • Raspberries – raspberries have been around for hundreds of years. • As a result they have been named king of the berries. • They even have their own ‘National Raspberry Day’ on the 1st of August. • Apples- the size of an apple can range massively from the size of a cherry to the size of a grape fruit. • the biggest apple was 3 pounds.

  7. Fruits • All the fruits we used are really healthy and boost your health. • Mango • Prevents cancer • Clears the skin • Boosts Immune system • Strawberries • Helps bones to grow stronger • Give you vitamin C • One of the healthiest fruits

  8. Fruits • Raspberries – • Improve management of obesity • Lessen chances of cancer • Very good for the body Apples - Helps children who have asthma Bone protection Very good for diets

Finance • A good smoothie is cheap but tasty • We used apple juice to enhance taste but keep it cheap • We also have mango as it tastes nice but is expensive • The smoothies are packaged in 250ml and will sell for £1.49 • We know that we could be more cost efficient if the ingredients were sourced directly
