Summary Report on SFSF Postsecondary Phase I Data Collection and Analysis (Aug-Sep 2011)

SFSF Post Secondary Phase I Reporting Period: August thru Mid-Sep 2011 Scope and Objectives • Receive & store the following data: • SAIS High School student data • ACT match to SAIS High School graduates for ACT scores • Enrollment & degree data from the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) • Enrollment data from Arizona State System for Information on Student Transfer (ASSIST) • Data repository to store data • Grant Indictors: • B(1)(12) Student -level college readiness test scores • B(1)(11) HS graduates transition successfully from secondary school to post secondary education • B(1)(12) Other data to determine success in post secondary education  • C11 HS Students who enrolled in IHE within 16 months of receiving a high school diploma • C12 HS Students who enrolled in IHE within 16 months of receiving a high school diploma and completed at least one year's worth of credit applicable to a degree within two fiscal years of enrollment Project Status Achievements Next Steps prior to Sep 30th Deadline • Completed SFSF Post Secondary Test Plans • Completed ACT unit testing • Draft FERPA agreement between ADE and ASSIST for data exchange • Completed ASSIST mock data unit testing • Received ACT data from 2005 thru 2009 – currently have 2010 data • Approved FERPA agreement • Complete QA testing • Develop technical user’s documents • Received NSC data from 2005 thru 2009 – currently have 2010 data • Develop next steps: Phase II reporting Risks / Issues / Change Requests
