  2. What is the Digital Sandbox? A Proof of Concept Center that broadly seeks new innovation in information technology and all ideas related to IT. Idea Feasibility Prototype Commercialization Our Mission: Create 10 companies with follow-on funding or generating $1 million in revenue by September 15, 2014. To date, Digital Sandbox has funded projects for 26 companies and is actively working with more than 40 companies.

  3. What are we looking for? Strong evidence that the technology is unique and that the IP is protected or likely to be protectable The technology is likely to be competitive in the marketplace and result in a sizeable business opportunity Initial Proof of Concept can likely be achieved within the defined project budget and timeline Committed, quality management team The market opportunity is robust

  4. What do we provide? Roadmap to take company from idea to prototype to commercialization Access to 180+ support organizations, corporate partners and research institutions Access to the resources: Co-working and event space at Union Station with gigabit-speed internet access. Access to cloud infrastructure for real-time web and mobile applications. Access to ADP Developers Toolkit. Support from corporate partners at Sprint, VML, UMB, Hallmark and Cerner. Connections to industry experts, mentors, potential customers and follow-on funding resources through corporate partners. Proof-of-concept funding Funds may cover project personnel salary, equipment purchases and other prototyping expenses – CANNOT INVEST DIRECTLY IN COMPANY
