Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle, an iconic member of the bird family, is known for its striking appearance and powerful abilities. Found in North America's woodlands, rivers, and lakes, this warm-blooded creature has distinctive white feathers on its head and a sharp yellow beak. As a carnivore, it feeds on fish, snakes, small mammals, and other birds. Notably, the Bald Eagle can dive at speeds of 120-160 mph and possesses around 7,000 feathers. This majestic bird is protected by law due to its status as the National Symbol of the United States.
