TOURISM • The Park of Mythology in Zator is the first Greek’ Mythology park in Poland. It is situated on the water, close to the Dinosaurs’ Park. There is an amusement park next to it, offering lots of attractions, especially for children.
In the Mythology Park, during the cruise across the picturesque pond, you can meet Greek gods and demigods and feel for the moment like a participant of amazing events, such as Trojan trick or an Golden Fleece expedition.
REST • The fishing ground is located in Zator by the main road. The area of this place is 2,5 ha. The average depth is 1,80 m. There are breeding fish like Zator’s Carp, pike or a grass carp.
The Skawa River • The Skawa River is located in the southern Poland. It flows through Zator. This river disembogues in Smolice into the Vistula river.
Economy • The owner of the fishing ground is Zator Fishing Society. The fishing ground consists of three reservoirs, which area is about 17 ha. The most common fish is Zator’s carp. Ponds are situated in Graboszyce. • Pond known as Long lake – the biggest of all ponds • Pond known as Lake with an island – the second biggest of all ponds • Pond known as Overgrown lake – the smallest of all ponds
Hydroelectric Power Station • On 06.07.2006 The HydroelectricPower Station in Smolice was opened. This is another successful investment of Hydroelectric Power Station Team. This building is very hermetic due to the location in a flood zone.
