Completion of ECN3 Crane Renovation and Upcoming NA62 Field Mapping Plans

The ECN3 crane renovation has successfully concluded, highlighted by a reception test conducted on January 25th and a final approval received last week. NA62 aims to execute a field mapping of the MNP33 magnet within 2013, targeting late September to October for optimal conditions regarding power and cooling requirements. Additionally, there will be a necessary evaluation of the front-end alignment, alongside a 180-degree rotation of the 4th MTR and consolidation of T10. Detailed installation planning for ECN3 is ongoing.

K12 / ECN3 • The ECN3 crane renovation has been completed with a reception test on the 25th of January and a second final approval last week. • NA62 wants to perform a field map of the MNP33 magnet in the course of 2013, the preferred period being around September/OctoberIs this possible (power, cooling?) • At some stage the front end alignment needs to be checked, the 4th MTR turned by 180o and T10 to be consolidated.
