  3. CONCLUSION : COMO meeting 8th April • Gas centrifuge OK but technical discussions are needed F6 X  X 82Se is ``OK’’ 130Te ``OK’’ • 150Nd no solution today for a few Kg cyclotron resonance is the device for any 2 isotope • International level but Europe could be a motor CEA has the know how

Russian Research Center, Kurchatov Institute Leonid Sosnine, Kurchatov Alexander Barabash, ITEP (Moscow), member of NEMO Conclusions • It is possible to produce 2kg of 82Se 1 year, cost 120 k Euros 82Se will be distilled at the end then the radiopurety could be better than before • The 82Se will be rent for a long period  agreement is needed 2) Second meeting 5th October A. Barabash, M. Danylov (director ITEP) agreement ITEP, IN2P3 including 2kg 82Se for a long period will be signed

  8. 82Se radiopurety ? • Next tracko-calo detector requirements NEMO3 x 10 208Tl < 2 Bq/kg, 214Bi < 20 Bq/kg • F682Se 82Se 82Se chemistry: distillation radiopurety ? enough ? new way • HPGe measurements 6 kg of 82Se will be better than 2 kg to improve the sensitivity and the next 4kg will be less expensive (~ 20 %)

CONCLUSION 82Se programme possible • 2kg - 1 year - 120 k Euros • Radiopurety after distillation must be measured 6 kg ? • Condition to get a reasonable cost and to avoid the customs problems (enriched materials are very expensive in the U.S): agreement for the use for a long period • Future: a few100 kg seems to be possible Thank you S.
