History of IPM 1994 -1996 project - Biologization of vineyards (600 ha of vineyards) in CHKO Pálava, supported by World Bank 2000 – 2001 Project PHARE, introduction of IP on area of 6000 ha of vineyards, 45 meteostations, advisory service etc. 2005 – first trials with mating disruption of Tortricidae 2006 – mating distuption on 640 ha of vineyards at south Moravia (Novosedly – altogether 130 ha treated with pheromones) 2006 – Biological protection against fungi at Vitis vinifera varieties succesfuly tested at 4 places 2006 – IP on aprox. 11.500 ha of vineyards (180 south Moravian companies (8.500 ha) – members of IP Association) 2011 - approx. 1.000 ha of organic vineyards, - the use of MD (pheromones) on 3.100 ha (17 % of all vineyards) Biocont Laboratory

  46. Biodiverzity of vineyards – consequences In Břeclav county is 522 ha natural protected foreststeppe areas fragmented to 23 localities and 13.697 ha of vineyards, from it Approx. 70 % in IPM system and 6 % organic Biocont Laboratory

ECOWIN - Ochrana přírody ekologizací vinohradnictví Project have 4 main parts: 1) Work out and realisation of the propagation and aducation course for winegrovers, nature protection specialists, teachers, students, konzumers etc. 2) Experimental part: on 2 CZ localities are trials with different green cover Bonitated parameters: fyziology of vine plants, deseases, nutrients, quality of grapes and wine 3) Regreening of approx. cca 1.370 ha SM vineyards with seed mixtures, replacement of Insecticides by MD pheromones 4) Optimalization of viticulture landscape .

  49. In South Moravian region it the project ECOWIN realised on 1370 ha of vineyards in 62 companies
