Olympic/Paralympic Values • The Olympic values are: • Respect – fair play; knowing one’s own limits; and taking care of one’s health and the environment • Excellence – how to give the best of oneself, on the field of play or in life; taking part; and progressing according to one’s own objectives • Friendship – how, through sport, to understand each other despite any differences • The Paralympic Values are: • Determination – the drive and motivation to overcome both physical and mental barriers in order to achieve your goals. • Courage – having the self-belief and confidence to overcome adversity and face difficulty. • Equality – showing respect and humility towards all those around you in the spirit of fair play. • Inspiration – to be motivated by the achievements and actions of others and to be a positive example to others. • Home

You can eat well by eating a balanced diet and if you look at the picture below you will see which proportions of food you need to sustain a balanced diet. If you have a balanced diet you will be healthier. You can have a treat now and again because you need some fats and sugars but you shouldn’t have a lot of it because it is bad for you and you will become ill Home

  5. Get Active Information The way to get active is by eating healthy going to the gym and do your best at sports. Also instead of getting an elevator from a shop use the stairs. This helps you being active because you get fit because of it and doing this means you are doing cardiovascular fitness. Which is to do with your heart and lungs. Also another way is to walk or use a bike to get to places instead of using a car. Home
