  2. CONSTRUCTION OF QUADRILATERALS A quadrilateral is a four sided polygon. It has four sides, four angles and two diagonals . To construct a quadrilateral at least five measures are needed.

  3. Construction of quadrilateral PQRS ,Given PQ= 6 cm, QR= 5.5 cm, RS = 8.5, PS =7 cm, PR = 7.5 cm S 8.5 cm R 7.5 cm 5.5 cm P Q 6 cm

  4. Step 1: Draw PQ 6 cm long. 6 cm P Q

  5. Step :2 Find the position of R by drawing two arcs one having center P and radius 5.5 cm and the other having center Q and radius 7.5 cm. R P Q

  6. Step :3 Find the position of S by drawing two arcs one having center P and radius 7 cm and the other having center R and radius 8.5 cm. Complete the Quadrilateral. S R Q P
