  2. Back round • John cabot was born in 1450 in Genoe Italy. His dads name was Scuba schin Cabot. His three sons are named Ludovico, Santeo, and his most famous, Sebastian. When he was young he was a Navigator before he was a sailor.

  3. Sponsor • Cabots idea was to start from the north latitude and the north longitude . Though he had to go west to go to Asia. King Henry VII funded his quest. He started his quest in Bristol, England in 1497. They sailed a little more north than Columbuses route. On June 24th Cabot reached Canada. When he got there he quickly claime his land.

  4. Motives • He attempted to the New world to claim his land ( where Christopher Columbus did ) to explore the new world and find wealth. Christopher Columbus inspired Cabot to sail more.

  6. Impacts • Cabot sailed through the north eastern cost of Asia. He sailed back and told king Henry that he found Asia. He sailed back to the new world with 10 ships.
