  5. Math 1* Math 2* Math 3* Math 4* *Math Support available Accelerated Math 1 Accelerated Math 2 Accelerated Math 3 AP Calc or Discrete Math MATH 4 UNITS AP Statistics may be taken concurrently with another math course after either Math 2 or Accelerated Math 2 or as a fourth math

  12. Total Course Credits 23 units are required for graduation 32 units are possible on McEachern’s schedule

  13. HONORS COURSES Honors courses are taught at a faster pace and cover material in greater depth than regular level classes. Honors courses, except for most 9th grade courses, carry an extra .5 quality point. (They do not count in the HOPE core GPA) Honors level courses best prepare students for Advanced Placement Courses as well as the rigor of college courses

  14. ADVANCED PLACEMENT COURSES AP provides students with the opportunity to try college work while in high school. AP gives students the opportunity to learn valuable skills and study habits AP is designed by college professors and secondary school teachers. College professors also help score exams to verify mastery of college material in AP courses
