The Greater Omaha area is focused on expanding business, investment, and employment opportunities. In 2010, 54 new projects were completed, creating 1,434 jobs with an investment totaling $128.8 million. Key labor market conditions and retail and construction activities are being monitored to support ongoing growth. The Nebraska Advantage program facilitated 47 national rankings and recognition for landed projects. Across the Omaha, Lincoln, and Greater Nebraska areas, significant progress has been made in economic development, positively impacting the community.
