  3. Objective 1: Accessing the Hub • Step 1: • Log in as a teacher

Step 2: • If your school has subscribed to the Hub package you will notice that your homepage will have the ‘Learning Library’ button available. • If you do not have this button please contact our support team on the details at the end of this guide. • Click on the Learning Library button to load the

Objective 2: Downloading Communities from the Hub Search ‘All communities’ only Search all facility Filter by Key Stage or Subject There are a number of ways that you can download communities from the Hub. You can filter specific communities by Key Stage or Subject. You can do a generic search for a particular topic to see what communities are available on that topic.

  6. You can filter by key stage and subject. Click on the ‘Preview’ button to have a look around the community. Click on the ‘Download’ button to download the community to your school’s learning platform Click the ‘Download’ button once and wait.

  7. Objective 3: Adding in members to the downloaded community • Step 1: • Click on the cogs located in the top right hand corner of the community. • Click on the ‘Manage Membership’ button

  8. Step 2: • Click on the ‘+’ symbol on the folder and locate the members of staff. • Click on the tick boxes by the members name. • Click on the ‘Add >>’ button located in the centre of the screen.

  9. Objective 4: Downloading individual resources from the Hub Search all facility Search ‘All Documents’ Search images only. Search ‘All Lesson Plans’ only There are a number of ways that you can download individual resources from the Hub. You can filter specific resources, Images, All Documents, or All Lesson Plans. You can do a generic search for a particular topic to see what resources are available on that topic.

  10. Clicking on the ‘All Lesson Plans’ only button allows you to download the lesson plan as either a Word Document or as a PDF file. Clicking on the lesson plan will present you with another screen. You will need to click on the ‘Download To...’ button to then save the document to your computer. Please note – this can be repeated for the additional resources like PowerPoint presentations, worksheets or any other document.

  11. Clicking on the ‘Quizzes’ or ‘Surveys’ button allows you to download the individual quiz or survey to a community of your choice. Clicking on an individual quiz/survey will allow you to ‘Download To...’ a selected community of your choice. Click on the ‘Back’ button. Locate the community that you have downloaded the quiz/survey to. You will notice that the quiz will be available under the quiz feature. Downloaded surveys will be located in the survey feature.

  12. Examples of communities that can be downloaded from the Hub Adding and Subtraction, World War II and Florence Nightingale are three examples of communities that are available in the Hub.
