2. What hunts them and there habitat. The dodos where found only on Island of Mauritius. Here they manly had a diet of watermelons and some of the local plants. This island had little to no predators that would ether eat there eggs or attack the birds them self. But when man came they introduce new animals that attack the dodo birds. Like the pigs, rats, dogs, and some cats. These animals manly attack there eggs so the cant regenerate.

3. affecting the environment From what I read they didn’t do as much to the environment .But from this web site http://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/conservation/issues/keystone-species-extinct1.htm I found what they say that the dodo birds digestive track help with the growth of a specific tree called tambalacoque tree.

4. Having this organism affect the environment From what I read there would be no difference in the world we live in know with out the dodo birds. But if they were still alive to this day they would be on the top of the most protected spices on the plaint. Because there are a lot more organisms that will eat these birds like nothing.

5. What is being done to protect this organism Nothing was being down about this because they were being hunted for there meat, and there homes were being cut down for fire wood.

6. One thing they could of done if the scientist found out sooner so they could of made them a protected organism so that they can no longer be hunted. And slowly regrow in there numbers. Also what they could of done is move a majority of they to a new island where no one can hunt kind a like a animal preserve. What needed to be done to increase the dodo birds numbers
