This research compares the emotional intelligence levels of students residing in KTSN and other areas to determine any significant differences. The study includes hypothesis testing, normality tests, and variance analysis to draw conclusions.

Specific Objective 3: To compare the mean of emotional intelligence of students among residential area.
RESEARCH QUESTION Is there any difference of mean emotional intelligence (EI) level between students who stay in KTSN and other than KTSN? Hypothesis: Null hypothesis: mean EI level of students stay in KTSN is equal to mean EI level of students stay other than KTSN Ho: µ₁ = µ₂ Alternative hypothesis: mean EI level of students stay in KTSN is not equal to mean EI level of students stay other than KTSN Ha: µ₁ ≠ µ₂
From Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, the significant value is 0.200. Since the value is more than 0.05, the data is normally distribute.
KTSN: μ= 112.55 , σ = 10.947 OTHER THAN KTSN: µ= 110.76 , σ = 10.274 Group statistic
Variance Test Ho: σ²₁ = σ²₂ Ha: σ²₁≠σ²₂ F = 0.029 , Sig. = 0.866 Since Sig > 0.05, Ho is accepted. So, variance of student who stay in KTSN is equal to variance of student who stay other than KTSN.
From the data equal variance assumed: Sig = 0.374 Since sig > 0.05 So, Ho is accepted. We can conclude that the mean EI level of student stay in KTSN is equal to mean EI level of student stay other than KTSN at significant level of 0.05.
