  3. Where we are today. -Between the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2013, carbon dioxide levels increased by 2.67 parts per million -In the US, we account for 20% of man made greenhouse gas emissions, with less than 5% of the population.

  4. Thing we can do to reduce our carbon footprint • Bike, use public transit, carpool to work, drive slower, keep your tires inflated • Lower your thermostat in the winter. Raise it in the summer • Wash dishes by hand in a basin, and then use the dish water for outdoor gardens. • Use energy efficient light bulbs.
