  1. Announcements Today is Thursday, November 7, 2013

  2. A representative from Zane State College will be in the Guidance Office during 3rd period, Today, Nov 7th--if you would like to meet with this representative, please sign your name on the list in the Guidance office and get permission from your teacher that period to be out of class.

  3. CYF is sponsoring a coat drive. -The box is located in the commons -please bring all your unwanted coats. -service learning teachers may give a service hour for bringing in a certain amount of coats.

  4. Canned food drive • Boxes will be on stage during lunches • There will be a competition among grades this year • Please see Scottie highlights during lunch for needed items • The drive will continue until thanksgiving break

  5. Winning song, quote, and flower for seniors. • Quote: “we have come a long way, but not half as far as we will go.” • Flower: yellow tulip • Song: “Wake me up”- Avicii

  6. FCS The FCS meeting for today is cancelled and will be rescheduled for next Thursday, Nov 14th

  7. Yearbook • The yearbook staff is in need of fall sports’ pictures. • You could also bring in pictures from Homecoming or senior dress up day.

  8. Prom committee • There will be a meeting Friday morning at 7:35 in the new gym.

  9. National Honor Society • There will a brief meeting after school today, Nov 7th, in room B-10. • Both new inductees and current members are to attend • See Mrs. Maddox if you unable to be there.

  10. Yearbooks • This is the final week to get a 2013-2014 yearbook for $55 • See Mr. Blair if you have any questions

  11. Academic quiz team • The next practice is Monday, Nov 11th, at 2:30pm in room A7

  12. Students • Playoff tickets will be on sale tonight from 6:00 to 8:00pm in the school lobby. • They will also be sold Today and Friday from 8:00am-3:00pm in the office • All students are required to purchase a ticket to enter the game • Student passes will not be accepted for the playoff game. • All tickets are $7
