Making Connections … • This year we have completed several career planning activities on your CCGI account such as • Career Exploration via Interest Profiler • Interest Identifier • Work Values Sorter and • Career Key Survey. • All these activities helped you clarify your interests, skills and work values and gave you a list of matching careers.

  5. Today’s Objective • To identify a career cluster • By taking the Career Cluster Survey • To match you with a number of careers that suit your previously identified interests, skills, and values.

Career Cluster & Career Path • What is a Career Cluster? • A group of careers that share common features. • If you like one job in a cluster, you will probably find other jobs in that cluster that you will like as well. • In a career cluster, you may find a career path. • What is a career path? • A smaller group of jobs within a career cluster that use similar skills. • You can start in a entry level job in a career path, with more education and experience, move up within that path. • A career path helps you find out how you might move from one job to another within a career cluster. • www.iseek.org/mymncareers/finish-school/what-is-a-career-path.html
