Schedule of Events • Luminary snowshoe/walk from Wainwright to Mill Creek • Bonfire and Music • Hockey clinics with Portland Pirates and SPHS Hockey teams • Pond Hockey tournament • Turkey Curling/ Turkey Bowling on the ice • Sleigh Rides • Igloo Making and Snow Sculpture contests • Snow softball “celebrity” game • Scavenger Hunt involving Mill Creek / Knightville businesses • Fun Run- Wainwright to Mill Creek with reception at end destination • Fireworks/ Ice Skating party at Wainwright
Tentative Planning Timeline • April- designate planning committee, set up meeting for late April- early May • May- meeting with committee divide responsibilities and set sub committees • June- July- solicit sponsors and coordinate fundraising if needed • August -plan schedule/ create list of needs and logistics • August- October- event planning • November – finalize program • December – promotion/ flyers/media releases/ set up PSA’s , etc • January- final meeting for committee • February 1- Event takes place
