This project delves into non-representational sculpture, focusing on a selected artist's work. The assignment requires us to analyze the chosen artwork, including its name and artistic techniques used in its creation, such as coils, slabs, or pinch pots. Additionally, we will explore texture and shape, determining if the forms are organic or geometric. Insights into the artist's background and motivations for their chosen style will enrich our understanding. By creating a tall, free-standing sculpture using primarily slabs and emphasizing form and shape, we will embody these artistic principles.
