About Tau Beta Pi • Founded in 1885 at Lehigh University • Second oldest honor society • The only engineering honor society to represent the entire profession of engineering • Chapters at 250 colleges and universities • Two new chapters established last week! • 66 Alumni Chapters • Initiated over 544,803 members since its establishment • Sac State Chapter established February 1984
