  2. Introductions • Freshman through Senior age college student’s satisfaction and potential wants for intramural events in the Student Recreation Center on the Northwest Missouri State University Campus.

  3. PURPOSE • To evaluate and find how satisfied the students of Northwest Missouri State University are with the intramural recreation sports that the Student Recreation Center has to offer. • To evaluate and find the potential wants of various intramural programs that the students of Northwest Missouri State University would want to participate in.

  4. Demographics • Freshman through Senior • Men and Women • Northwest Missouri State University College Students

  5. Survey • 9 Old – 9 New • Based on Satisfaction and Wants of Intramural Sports. • Random students in SRC. • 12 in the morning – 12 in the evening

  6. Results • Average for each Age Group • Freshman Sophomore Junior Senior • Wants 16.22 17.75 24 23.57 • Satisfaction 19.44 23.5 26.5 28.85

  7. Conclusions • Freshman have low wants and low satisfaction rates for Intramural activities. • Sophomore’s have low want rates but have medium satisfaction rates for Intramural activities. • Junior’s have medium want rates and higher satisfaction rates for Intramural activities. • Senior’s have high want rates and the highest satisfaction rates for Intramural activities

  8. Recommendations • With the low rates of Freshman for Wants and Satisfactions we should be marketing at more of a student level. Posters are important, but so is upper classmen peer influence on intramurals. • New things need to be sampled as well request of the upper classmen. Satisfaction rates are high but they also have high want rates. Find specific intramurals that they are interested in. • While giving I observed no one knew the activities that we actually did offer. Something needs to be offered to promote more of this! Upper classmen want to participate just need more information.
