When is child status on the three indicators determined? • As part of the initial evaluation and assessment process • At exit if the child is in the system more than six months • It is recommended, but not required, to be completed at the time of each annual IFSP –check with your LSM Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia
Coordination with Part B • The final Part C ratings can be used as the Part B initial ratings • Conversely, the initial Part B ratings can be used as the final Part C ratings • Local Systems (Part B & C) will determined what works best for this shared point in time data Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia

Quality Assurance • As providers, we are reporting the child progress on the children we serve. We MUST ensure that we are being objective and consistent. • The documentation in the IFSP or on the CISF will show an external reviewer how we came to each determination.
