Grading System • Seminar participations and presentations (33 1/3%) • Midterm examination (33 1/3) • Research proposal (33 1/3) Course kit (required readings) is only available from the York University Bookstore. The midterm examination will be drawn from a variety of questions that are listed for each reading in the course kit. You will be given all the questions that appear on the midterm exam today.

  4. Conducting the seminars • I will present the first few weeks worth of seminars. You will be expected to present one seminar using the assigned readings and supplementing it using material that you have found. • You are all expected to have read the seminar’s assigned readings and be able to answer the questions listed in the course outline. These questions will constitute the basis of seminar discussion and will appear on the midterm exam. • You will develop a research proposal and will present it to the seminar during the winter term.

  5. The website (www.psych.yorku.ca/davidw) should now be functional. It contains the course outline and has links to a variety of useful websites.
