  4. Associate Degree Nursing • Prepares graduates to provide bedside nursing care to clients of all ages with physical or mental, acute or chronic, common illnesses and disorders. • Includes providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community-based agencies.

  5. Associate Degree Nursing A limited access program Service District is Marion, Citrus, Levy counties. In-district residents accepted first before out-of-district applicants This program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

  6. Nursing-Licensed Practical Nurse to A.S. Nurse Bridge The program prepares graduates to provide nursing care to a group of clients of all ages with physical or mental, acute, or chronic, common illnesses and disorders.

  7. Nursing-Licensed Practical Nurse to A.S. Nurse Bridge The Licensed Practical Nurse to A.S. Nurse Bridge program is designed to build upon the LPN’s education and facilitate career mobility to Associate Degree Nursing.

  8. Nursing-Licensed Practical Nurse to A.S. Nurse Bridge The program includes providing care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community-based agencies. A limited access program. Service district is Citrus, Marion, Levy counties. In-district residents will be accepted into the nursing program before out-of-district applicants. The program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

  9. Emergency Medical Technician Prepares graduates to provide pre-hospital emergency medical services. Areas of instruction include patient assessment and care of injured or ill patients.

  10. Paramedic Prepares graduates to provide invasive and noninvasive pre-hospital emergency medical care for injured or ill patients.

  11. Emergency Medical Services The EMS degree program is designed to prepare graduates for a career as a professional provider of pre-hospital emergency care. The program includes general education courses combined with the paramedic certificate program and emergency medical technician certificate program.

  12. Physical Therapist Assistant Prepares graduates to provide patient treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Treatments may include applying physical agents and designing and carrying out exercise programs.

  13. Physical Therapist Assistant PTAs provide direct patient care of individuals who experience temporary or permanent disability due to pain, injury, disease or birth defects.

  14. Radiography This degree program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a radiologic technologist. The program is dedicated to excellence in education and training and to quality and safety of patient care.

  15. Radiography This A.S. Degree program is a cooperative effort of the College of Central Florida and Community Technical & Adult Education.

  16. Surgical Technology Prepares graduates to work with a surgical team delivering patient care before, during and after surgery.

  17. Surgical Technology After passing an instrument test and successful completion of 240 hours, the student will have demonstrated an occupational completion point of Central Supply Assistant. This is a limited access program.

  18. Dental Assisting This certificate program is designed to train individuals to perform as efficient dental professionals in a dental health environment.

  19. Dental Assisting Students will gain exposure to various areas such as dental radiography, dental materials, chair-side assisting, infection control and more. The program is a total of 1,230 contact hours. This is a limited access program.

  20. Dental Assisting – Technology and Management An A.S. Degree that encompasses a multitude of career opportunities. Provides skills in communications, business, computers and management.

  21. Dental Assisting – Technology and Management Combines completion of the Applied Technology diploma courses and one of the general education options listed below: - A.S. Degree in Dental Assisting Technology and Mgmt. – Dental Practice Mgmt.- A.S. Degree in Dental Assisting Technology and Mgmt. – Education- A.S. Degree in Dental Assisting Technology and Mgmt. - Marketing
