  2. 1 Kings 10:1-7 • The Queen of Sheba heard many reports of the famed wisdom of Solomon (1, 6) • She traveled with a great caravan for 1000 miles • She came with tough questions to test him (1) • She asked everything that was in her heart, she did not hold back anything (2) • Solomon answered everything (3) • Wisdom was from God (1, 9)

  3. First Hand Observations • 1 Kings 10:4-5a • Wisdom 1 Kings 4:29-33 • Wealth (10:21, 27) • House (one of his projects) Eccl. 2:4-6 • Table setting • People (10:8) and their apparel (Matt. 6:29) • Ascent to the temple (pathway to God) • Doubted reports 6-7a, 24 (Jn. 20:28)

She Was Convinced • 1 Kings 10:5b-7 • There was no more spirit (breath) in her • Matt. 12:43-45 • The unbelievable reports that caused her to travel, doubt, bring questions (half not told) • Her reaction was similar to others and thus Solomon enjoyed peace and prosperity for most of his reign 3:28, 4:34
