Job Creation in Williamson County • With nearly 130K jobs, Wilco has about 17% of total regional jobs. • BUT, during the past 5 years Wilco has fueled fully 1/3 of the region’s employment growth. • Wilco employment has jumped more than 21% since 2006 while the MSA has expanded by only 9.5%. • Business relocations out of Travis are increasingly common and have netted 11k jobs since 2000.
