  4. Resumes • 1-2 pages in length • Use bullet points, boldings, italics and underlines • Top to bottom in importance • Avoid abbreviations • No misspelled words!!!!! Double Check!

  5. How many pages should an entry-level resume be in length? 1 CDS has a template for you to use as a guide! Add your own formatting, skills and style!

  17. Interviews (Portfolio) • Use a professional binder or small attaché. • Include samples and other items appropriate for each interview. • The benefits: You look professional; you feel prepared and confident!

  18. Interview Portfolio Contents • Job-related work samples (from work or education/training) • Required certificates, licenses, transcripts, etc. • Copies of your resume (at least 5) • Letters of Recommendation • List of 3 appropriate references • Notebook with your important questions
