THE THIRD ANGEL’S WARNING REVELATION 14:9-12 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; …and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

THE EARTH [AMERICA] RESCUES THE WOMAN [CHURCH] REVELATION 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. • How does the woman receive help from the earth? • What flood is the Bible referring to here? • REVELATION 12:13 [The dragon persecuted the woman who brought forth the man child.] • REVELATION 12:17 [The dragon went to make war with the remnant of the woman’s seed.] 3. REVELATION 13:7 [The dragon was given power to make war with the saints.]

  6. IDENTIFY REVELATION’S SECOND BEAST? REVELATION 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. Questions that need Answers: • When does this second beast arise? • Where does it arise? • What is its nature? • What does its two horns signify [REVELATION 13:11]? • Where did all the previous beast come from?

CHARACTERISTICS: EARTH [SECOND] BEAST • Second Beast: Earth • Second Beast comes from far out west than previous beasts. • Second Beast fights no other beast in other to rise to power. • Bear vs. Lion • Leopard vs. Bear • Dragon vs. Leopard • Did this second beast of REVELATION 13:11 do any of these?

  10. CHARACTERISTICS: SECOND BEAST • Where does it [second beast] arise? • REVELATION 12:16 [Earth]…And this beast gives refuge to God’s people fleeing persecution. • Further west of Europe [Beast is not European or Asiatic.]

  11. WHEN DOES THIS SECOND BEAST ARISE TO POWER? REVELATION 13:9, 10 If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword…. • First beast was disposed: 1798 • First beast received its deadly wound after 1798 • The second beast restores power/sword to the first beast after 1798 • The second beast helps the first beast heal its wounds [REVELATION 13:11-18].

  13. WHAT IS THE NATURE OF THE SECOND BEAST? First: Beast represents a nation or kingdom [REVELATION 13:11]. • Is this nation going to become a worldwide superpower? REVELATION 13:11-18 Military & Political Economic & Religious REVELATION 13:16, 17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS • Is the United States of America located west of Europe? • Is the United States of America in a different place? • Did the United States of America make war with any of those previous powers? • Did the United States of America refused those fleeing Europe? • Did it arise to power around the year 1798? • Is the United States of America the only superpower with worldwide status? • Both of REVELATION’S first [sea beast] and second [earth beast] will coexist in the end time!

CIVIL AND RELIGIOUS LIBERTY There’s no Civil liberty without Religious liberty • Afghanistan and the Taliban • Saudi Arabia • North Korea • China • Other countries: Proselytization is illegal America’s founding fathers: Knowledgeable • History of Europe: Freedom [Church & State] • Colonial Rule: King/Queen • Refugees: Religious persecutions [Bibles]

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA: CONSTITUTION PreambleStates the general purpose of the Constitution: "We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

  20. BILL OF RIGHTS: Amendment Amendment I (1791). First of the Bill of Rights amendments (I-IX); prohibits government established religion; guarantees freedom of worship, of speech, of the press, of assembly and to petition the government.

  21. OVERSTEPPING BOUNDARIES Case in Point: • In 1415, John Huss was burned at the stake. [the church ask the state to martyr him]. Why? Yet the Jews used the state to crucify him. • During the USA Colonial period, if a person did not attend church, that person would be fined by the civil government, thrown in jail, or executed.

OVERSTEPPING BOUNDARIES CONTINUES… Case in Point: • Roger Williams [Clergyman] spoke up against the separation of church a state in the southern states of USA. in 1635; he ran from a lynch mob into unbroken forest for 3 months, and arrived in Providence Rhode Island. LUKE 20:25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.

CHURCH-STATE INFLUENCE REVELATION 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. REVELATION 13:15, 16 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.
