Egg stage 1 • Inside of a egg a baby forms. • Eggs are very sticky so they can stick to leaves.
Caterpillar stage 2 • A caterpillar needs food caterpillars fold leaves around them to eat.
Chrysalis stage 3 • It takes a few weeks for a chrysalis to form. • A butterfly forms in the chrysalis.
Butterfly stage 5 • After three weeks the chrysalis opens. • When a butterfly comes out it’s wings are wet.
