  3. 8th year teaching • Taught 5th grade 6 years at AJIS • 2nd year at Bemis Intermediate • Graduated from South Side, Lambuth University, and Walden University

  4. Favorite subject: Math • Favorite hobby: Shopping and spending time with my family • Favorite food: French fries • Favorite Place to visit: Panama City Beach • Favorite Sports Teams: VOLS • Favorite Color: Pink • Make a list of your favorites!

  5. What do you need to know today? • Mrs. Hall teaches Math. • Mrs. Bond teaches Science and Social Studies. • Mrs. Carnal teaches Language Arts and Reading. • You are in Mrs. Hall’s homeroom. You will begin and end each day with me. • Yes, you will get a locker. • You will have one activity period each day for 55 minutes.

  7. Procedures for Bemis and 5-1 • Doors and Gym in the morning • Hallway • Lockers • Breakfast • Morning • Supplies • Homework • Make-Up Work • Dresscode • Start Time • Restrooms • Books • Lunch

  8. Procedures • Doors and Gym Doors do not open until 6:30. If you ride a bus, you will go straight to the gym. If you are a car rider, you will be dropped off on the cafeteria side and walk to the gym. After 7:00, come straight to the room. • Hallway All students will walk on the right side of the hallway. You are to walk on the third row of tiles. Stay in a straight line. There is NO TALKING in the hallways.

  9. Lockers You will go to lockers at least twice a day. Every morning you will go to lockers before you come to class. Think and get all you need on the first visit. You will always go to your locker before the end of the day. • Breakfast Breakfast is served in the classroom from 7:00- 7:25. You will need to be here by 7:05 to have time to eat. You will order the day before and will mark your name off and you get your breakfast. No sharing.

  10. Homeroom Each morning you will go to your locker, eat breakfast, sharpen your pencil, and start your bellwork. You are to be ready to start the day at 7:25. Pencils should be ready to go and breakfast trash should be put away. • Supplies When you come to class, you are expected to have books, paper, pencils, homework, and signed papers. Failure to have supplies will result in a card(s) being pulled.

  11. Homework Homework is due to next day. If work is not completed, you will go to study hall to complete it. Homework is to be done at home. No working on it during morning time. • Make-Up Work You will get a make-up work sheet when you are absent. Please see me if your make-up sheet is not in the basket. It is your responsibility to turn in your work. We will not ask you for it. After 3 days, you will receive a ZERO for work not turned in.

  12. Dress Code You are expected to know and follow the JMCSS dress code. The first time you break dress code, you will receive a warning. After that you will be assigned to ISS or OSS. Have a belt on everyday. • Start Time School officially starts at 7:15. You will need to be here by 7:05 to have time to go to your locker. If you are in the hallway when the bell rings, go directly to the office. You are tardy and must get a tardy slip to be admitted to class.

  13. Restrooms You will get at least 3 restroom breaks per day. Make sure you take advantage of these breaks. 8 classes share our restrooms, we do not have time to take any other breaks. We only use the stalls. • Signed Papers Signed papers will go home each Tuesday. They are to be signed and returned on Wednesday. You will get a warning if papers are not returned. One card will be pulled.

  14. Agenda Books Agenda books are to be completed everyday and signed everyday. I will check them randomly to be sure they are completed and signed. Special reminders and notes will be written in agendas. • Pulling Cards Consequences: 1 Card- Warning 2 Cards- Study Hall 3 Cards- Phone call home 4 Cards- Office Referral
