  3. RIMPAC Phases Harbor Phase • 26 Jun – 8 Jul • All forces ashore Force Integration Training (FIT) • 9 – 25 Jul • Serialized Training • Advanced FIT Freeplay Phase • 26-29 Jul

  4. Harbor Phase 26 June – 8 July Receive and integrate forces (admin, training) Establish connections between participants Briefings • Basic warfare training • Safety briefings • Final planning (flypro, SOE) • Concept rehearsals Social events • Formal receptions, parties, sports events

Force Integration Training Serialized Phase 9 – 19 July Meets most CTF 172 national training objectives Scripted, pre-planned training events • 10-12 ASW CASEX per day • Starting with basic CASEX 6, 7 • Working up to CASEX 3,4 All events under TACON of CTF 172 Assigned DCA/SAG box for each event

Force Integration Training Serialized Phase 9 – 19 July Live Fire SINKEXes • 10 Jul: SLAM-ER co-op, IR Maverick (USN) • 14 Jul: Harpoon CTOT (USN + JMSDF) Torpedo Exercises • 7 Jul: JMSDF • 17-19 Jul: USN Humanitarian Assistance / Disaster Relief support 9-13 Jul • 1 – hour add-on tasking over Ford Island

Force Integration Training Advanced FIT 20-24 July Ships operating in formed units Each MPRA CTG supports one Strike Group Theater ASW Exercises under TACON of TASW commander (CTF 174) • Carrier Strike Group (CTF 170) • Expeditionary Strike Group (CTF 176) War at Sea Exercises (WASEX) • Surface Warfare only, no sub threat • CTF vs.OPFORSAG • Strike Groups have TACON Swap events halfway on 22 Jul Ends with PHOTOEX – 25 July
