Nursing in Japan has drastically changed During these 30 years, • advanced medical technology • the disease burden has shifted from infectious to life-style related diseases • The population structure has changed to an aging society and low birth rates. • Risk management : More and more we are faced with the unexpected; natural disasters, terrorism and pandemics
