Accommodation & Transportation • At NCRA & IUCAA • Primarily for students • Pay at location as per local rates • At YASHADA : • Pay at location as per rates • Contact number : 020 25608001 • Hotels : • Marriott, Pride, Sayaji, Royal Orchid • Transportation : • Morning departure from YASHADA : 7:45 AM and 8:00 AM • From the hotels : 7:45 AM • Two return trips after dinner • Meals • B’fast, lunch, dinner for 10th – 14th at the venue • Also dinner on 9th and B’fast on 15th

Scientific Program • Mornings (9 AM to 1 PM) : Talks and Presentations • Venue : NCRA Auditorium • All talks will be recorded for posterity  common projection from one machine  load your talks before hand • Contact person : Premkumar + • Afternoons : (2 PM to 5 PM) : Tutorials and Hands-on sessions • Venue : Tutorial Lab (1st floor) • Contact person : Ajithkumar + • Afternoons : (2 PM to 5 PM) : Working Group discussion sessions • List of WGs will be finalised today at 2 PM • Meeting Rooms – 1, 2, 3; NCRA Board Room; this auditorium • Contact person : Yashwant Gupta (till WG coordinators are finalised) • Posters : just outside, in the auditorium foyer ; few more “walk-ins” possible • Contact person : SandeepChaudhari • We will meet in this auditorium for a short while (15-20 mins) at 2:00 PM every day, before dispersing to the tutorials or discussion sessions

Proposed Working Groups • WG1 : Building CASPER based instruments : current status, learnings, and immediate requirements • WG2 : Designs for next generation processing hardware (including Roach-3) • WG3 : High-speed samplers and new ADCs, direct digitisation and related techniques • WG4 : Software tools and techniques for FPGAs • WG5 : CPU-GPU based instrument design (h'ware and s'ware aspects) • WG6 : Techniques for next-gen telescopes (SKA and other large-N instruments) -- hardware, networks etc.
