Emergency Services • Current Issues • Activate Florida USAR Coordination Team • Activate SERP Plan • Activate Forestry expanded dispatch center • DOF is working request to supply IMT to a local county (Tracker #15) • Activate seven Regional Emergency Response Advisors • Health Care Coordination (arrangement of transportation assets for pre-event evacuation and communicating with facilities and health care organizations • Special Needs Shelters (both host and impact) capability and capacity being assessed along with development of contingency plans • Closure of State Parks in Monroe County • Contacted Federal counterparts (USCG, US EPA) to notify of EOC activation, Regional counterparts (EPA Region IV, Atlanta), DEP Program Directors and Regulatory Support Cell Team members • Conducted Teleconference with BER Managers/Identify Emergency Response Team resources available • All State Law enforcement agencies have identified response teams available to be deployed

Human Services • Current Issues • ESF 6 (Mass Care) has 16 shelter on Standby (FIU), others preparing • ARC & SA marshalling resources • Shelter manager availability & staffing being reviewed • ESF 11 (Food/Water) has inventoried stored water & ice • ESF 15 (Vol. & Don.) preparing for operations • ESF 17 (Animal Issues) teams preparing • Other HS Functions: Dept. Children & Families, Dept. of Elder Affairs, Agency for Workforce Initiative (AWI) on standby • CERT (Community Emergency Response Teams)- local jurisdictions will determine need for their use in local area

Infrastructure • Current Issues • Traffic counters activated • Evacuation team activated • FDOT sites being fueled • FDOT public transit office ready to assist w/evacuation • SFWMD taking protective actions to reduce flooding impacts • Lake Okeechobee/Herbert Hoover Dike status is normal • Currently have cell, sat, analog phones and aircards on standby • Contacted telecom industry for standby in their local areas • Activating conference call bridge lines • Assisting with cell and satellite phone requests • FEIL telecom is operational

Infrastructure • Current Issues • Petroleum companies requested to provide daily fuel supply status report • Retail fuel stations being polled for supply shortages • I-95 @ 98% report plenty; I-75 @ 96%; I-4 @ 100%; Fl Tpk @ 100%; and US-1 @ 100% • Fuel priorities are being communicated by DEP: 1. emergency response; 2. evacuation corridors; 3. major transportation corridors; and 4. critical infrastructure • Red dye and RVP waivers still in effect until October 25 • Locating fuel tender trucks, fuel suppliers and fuel drop-off locations • Eleven 9,000 gal tenders plus five short tenders available (most in Tampa) • Nothing to report for electric energy
