  1. Taylor Alison Swift was born on the 13th of December, 1989 in Pennsylvania. Taylor is an American country pop, singer-songwriter, musician and actress. To date, she has received 136 nominations and won 76 awards which includes a Grammy for the Album of the Year. Her first self titled album was certified five times platinum while her second album, ‘Fearless’ was certified six times platinum. Taylor began working on her debut album in the same year she was signed to Big Machine records. A lot of her songs are coming of age experiences, such as insecurity, young love, and teenage angst. As a child, she was a victim of bullying and often wrote songs to express her emotion. She has a younger brother, Austin, and her greatest musical influence is Shania Twain.
