The Overview • Our device is called the R.O.F.L. Waffle. • The objective of the R.O.F.L. Waffle is to pour syrup onto a pancake and then serve it. • It consist of a cardboard box, two cars, string, duck tap, pencils, a cup, two cans, a funnel, a calculator, one plate, and a mirror.
Energy Conversions • Our first energy conversion is Potential Energy to Kinetic energy. mgh=1/2mv^2 Our second is an Elastic collision. 1=e Vb’-Va’/Va-Vb Our last is again Potential Energy to Kinetic energy. mgh=1/2mv^2
Conclusion! Our team worked very well together in designing the project. We had three energy conversions and also stayed under the twenty dollar budget. The team also built a system that poured syrup onto a pancake that then served it successfully.
