  1. Key Club09.18.13 Thanks for Coming! Please take a seat in the FRONT of the auditorium!

  2. Concessions @ Football Games • This Friday Sept 20 vs. West Aurora • 4:30-6:30 or 6:30 - 8:30 • Oct 4th vs. Naperville Central • 4:30-6:30 or 6:30 - 8:30 • Oct 11th vs. Lake Park • 4:30-6:30 or 6:30 - 8:30 • 4 volsper shift • Meet at concessions stand @ WWS Fball Field

  3. Childcare • When: Tues. Sept. 24 and Thurs. Sept. 19 and 26 • Where: Johnson Elementary School • Time: 6:00-8:40 • 3 Spots/day • What: Playing with kids while parents take English classes.

  4. AAUW Book Drive • 1 Hour/couple of books • That means more than 3! • What You Can Donate: Chapter books, picture books, etc. NOT textbooks, audiobooks, or CD’s. • Due By: Nov. 13th

  5. OLD EVENTS

  6. NAMI Run for the Mind • When: Oct. 5th 7am-12pm • UNLIMITED • What: Set up, time runners, guide runners, etc. • Where: Danada Forest Preserve on Naperville Rd.

  7. Art on the Prairie/Jazz Festival • When: Sat. Sept. 21 and Sun. Sept. 22 • 7:30am -11am • 11am-3pm  • 2:30pm-6pm • Where: Warrenville City Hall (Stafford Pl, Warrenville) • What: Helping with kids’ art station, set up, take down

  8. Lincoln Clothing Sale (10 SPOTS OPEN) • When: • Fri Oct. 4th 3pm-6pm and Sat. Oct. 5th 10:30am-1pm • Friday: Full • Saturday: 10 Spots Open • Where: Lincoln Elementary School (630 Dawes Ave. Wheaton) • What: Set up, helping out with the sale!

  9. JDRF Walk (4 SPOTS OPEN) • When • Sat. Oct. 5th 8am-12pm and Sun. Oct. 6th 7am-11am • Where: St. James Farm • If you already signed up, SEE US • What: Set up/tear down, cheering on and guiding walkers, passing out water, etc. Proceeds go towards Diabetes research!

  10. Fall Festival (FULL) • When: Oct. 5th 1pm-4 pm • Where: Westfield Elementary School (Mayfield Lane just south of 22nd Street, Glen Ellyn) • What:Helping with the kids’ game stations, face painting, etc.

  11. Worldwide Day of Play (FULL) • Saturday, September 21st, 10am-2pm • Wheaton Park District Community Center 1777 S Blanchard Rd, Wheaton, IL • Volunteers will greet people, running "play" stations, hoola hoop contest, bounce house, obstacle course • 10 volunteers

  12. Fall/ Winter Children's Clothing Sale (FULL) • When: September 21st, 1-3 PM • Where: Warrenville Fire Station #1 on Batavia Rd. • What: Taking down the sale, moving boxes and metal racks • 5 Volunteers Needed

  13. Annual Family Hayride (FULL) • When: September 21st from 4:30-7:30 p.m • Where: Danada Equestrian Center, 3s507 Naperville Rd, Wheaton, IL • What: Helping out with hayride, various activities • Meet by the campfire, arrive at 4:15

  14. Homecoming Decorations (FULL) TIME: 1pm-4pmish • When: September 27th in the afternoon • Needed: 5 people to form committee (Plans how the hallway is decorated) SEE US UP FRONT • 10 additional volunteers to decorate

  15. Novice Show Ushering (FULL) • When: Friday - Sept. 27 - 6:30pm • Saturday - Sept. 28 - 1:00pm • Saturday - Sept. 28 - 6:30pm • Ushers shirts will be supplied. Each usher should wear either black or khaki pants - no shorts, sweats or jeans • Expect to stay ½ an hour after the show ends

  16. Long Term Events • Connection of Friends - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-6, and Saturday nights from 6-9 • Power Hour Tutoring - Wednesdays in the Edison LLC from 3:10-4:20pm (2 needed) • WDSRA – Info meetings: 10/1, 11/5, 6:30pm – 8:00pm; WDSRA Office (Boardroom) , 116 N. Schmale Rd; Carol Stream, IL. 60188 • Peoples’ Resource Center • See us if interested
