INGREDIENTS • ½ pear (plate) • 50g summer fruits (plate) • 25g margarine (saucer) • 50g plain flour (bowl) • 15ml oats (cup) • 20ml soft brown sugar (cup)
METHOD • Collect equipment and ingredients. • Switch oven onto 180°C/Gas Mark 5. • Peel and chop pear and place in foil container. Spoon the summer fruits over the pear. • Cut margarine up into small pieces. Rub margarine into flour until it looks like fine breadcrumbs. • Stir in the soft brown sugar and oats. • Spoon the crumble mixture over the fruit. Bake in oven for 20 to 25 minutes. • Wash up.
METHOD • Ask teacher to check your unit. • Collect a foil lid. • Carefully remove crumble from the oven using oven gloves.
