SYSTEMS INTEGRATION – Senior Manager/Manager The individual will be responsible for working with Senior Managers and Partners to help develop Accenture’s technology practice in the Resources oriented industry verticals which would include Utilities, Energy and Natural Resources. The role envisages both business development and service delivery responsibilities. The role requirements include: • A minimum of 8 - 12 years of consulting experience • An excellent, established track record for selling and delivering systems integration projects and preferably on SAP • Experience in managing client personnel (in the CIO / CTO organization) independently with limited guidance • Preferred candidates who have had account management experience • Experience working with “C” level executive clients • The individual should have a good track record of selling and delivering systems integration projects in the resources oriented industry verticals - Utilities, Metal & Mining, Oil & Gas etc • Should demonstrate a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent communication skills, including strong oral and written communication capabilities • Domestic market exposure is a must
UTILITIES (Power) – Senior Manager/Manager The individual will be responsible for working with Senior Managers and Partners to help develop Accenture’s practice in Power/Utility Industry for Domestic Business. While the role envisages both business development and service delivery responsibilities, the focus would be more on client management and business/practice development. The role requirements include: • A minimum of 8-12 years of overall experience ( Industry+consulting), of which 3-5 years in consulting (Associate Director level in consulting organization) • An excellent, established track record for selling and delivering consulting engagements • Prefer candidates who have had account management experience, ‘sectoral’ responsibility. Experience of managing key ‘accounts’ in the utility sector and working with “C” level executives at these clients • The individual should have a deep understanding of the Utility sector in India – overall industry dynamics, issues, typical challenges faced by clients and an appreciation of operational aspects of the sector . Extensive work experience in the Utility Industry • Domestic experience is a must
CAPITAL PROJECTS – Senior Manager/Manager The individual will be responsible for working with the Partners and Senior Managers to help sell and deliver Capital Projects work across the industries within Resources - Power Generation, Metals and Mining, Oil and Gas. The role requirements include: • A minimum of 8 – 12 years of overall experience (Industry + consulting) with good Project management/PMO experience in sectors like Steel, Power and other Capital Project areas. Consulting experience should ideally include a mix of sales and delivery roles • Understanding and appreciation of the challenges faced in planning and executing large complex capital projects • The individual should have a deep understanding of the overall value chain involved in a typical Capital projects across the Resources industries • The individual should have successful track record of delivering results in projects environment at companies within Resources (either as a part of consulting or industry experience) • Very good project management and relationship building skills are required. They should be able to think for the client and apply their learning’s in various situations. • Domestic market exposure is a must.
UTILITIES (Power) – Consultant/Manager • The individual will be responsible for working with Partners and Senior Managers to assist in developing Accenture’s practice in the Power/Utility Industry. The role requires an individual with experience in operations of a thermal power plant (with focus on Generation). • The role requirements include: • A minimum of 7 – 10 years of overall experience (Industry + consulting). The individual should be consulting fit in terms of ability to work with clients. Consulting experience would be an added advantage • The individual should have an understanding of the Utility sector in India – overall industry dynamics, issues, typical challenges faced by clients and an appreciation of operational aspects of the sector • Understanding and appreciation of the overall industry dynamics and key trends affecting the industry • Good understanding and work experience in the Utility Industry with Power Generation companies across areas • The individual should have successful track record of delivering results to Utility companies (either as a part of consulting or industry experience) • Domestic market exposure is a must
STEEL – Consultant/Manager The individual will be responsible for working with the Partners and Senior Managers to assist in developing Accenture’s Steel Industry Practice of the Metal & Mining vertical. The role requirements include: • A minimum of 7 – 10 years of overall experience (Industry + consulting). Individuals should be a consulting fit in terms of ability to work with clients. Consulting experience would be an added advantage. • Understanding and appreciation of the overall industry dynamics and key trends affecting the industry • Good understanding and work experience in the Steel Industry across the value chain • Manufacturing operations & maintenance (should be conversant with areas where improvements can be driven – for e.g. Logistics, Maintenance, Plant Operations, Supply Chain planning etc.) • Understanding of related Mining operations & areas where improvements can be driven • Domestic market exposure is a must.
