  4. Warmup Topic: SMART What makes a goal a SMART goal? Rewrite the following to make it SMARTer: I want to do better on my math tests.

  5. Summary for the week Summarize what you learned about Time management and goal setting this week. 3-4 lines with specific things you learned.

  6. How is your mind set? Pair activity – • Read the graphic organizer you receive. • Look at how the info flows. See what connects with what. What does this say about how this person looks at learning? • Teach your partner what you know about your mind set. Independent Activity: Do the reflections on the back.

  7. Ted on Mindset • Listen carefully for: What is the main idea of the video? What does Ted want to prove?   8. SMART Goal Tracker • You will transfer your SMART goal to this tracker and keep track of it on a DAILY basis for ONE WEEK, until next Tues/Wed.

  9. SMART Goal Tracker • Give yourself 1 point if you worked significantly on your goal each day and 0 points if you hardly worked on it at all.

  10. SMART Goal Tracker • Provide evidence on the bottom side of the tracker: What did you do to work on your goal each day? If you did NOT work on it, explain what prevented you from working on it.
