  2. Agenda • Summary Update • Current Activities/Updates • Upcoming Talks, Reports, Meetings Updates/Talks: • CY Tan – LOCO for Booster

  3. Update • Linac SBK – kickoff meeting with CPI to discuss all specs items. No surprises. PDR next month. • Linac Laser Notching – working on timing and electronics • Modulator work – EE: Progress on 9 cell moving along – SLAC: issues with the current design which does not accommodate a feedback system. Team is on schedule to make decision about which design PIP should proceed: EE support or SLAC • Booster Beam: Issues with current damper system over weekend. Difficult problem. • Transverse damper – no news • Cogging software work continues – working on higher gain and running both systems at same time • Booster optics software – today’s talk • Booster Longitudinal dampers - no news • Booster RF • Booster RF 13 cavity is in test stand – vac sealed and spark rate is down. Ready for installation next week?? • Booster RF3 work has started – ready for teststand soon • Cone work continues – in a week work load will reach a difficult point without a cavity swap • New Cavities – working to set some cavity design specifications • Perpendicular Cavities – progress on simulations and testing of TRIUMF cavity – working on solenoid design. • High mu cores – National is shipping two cores that did not quite reach μ and going to run another batch • Booster Anode Supplies –EE personnel visit the company • Working towards completing design signoff this month! Want to install this summer shutdown. • Booster Bias supplies – Work being done with EE supt. help - plan to have a prototype done in Feb. • Booster Shielding – had meeting with safety – add few more chipmunks enough to receive a level 1 exemption due to machine protection.
