  2. Do Now • Take 30 seconds and write everything that you know about the Cahsee or Mock Cahsee exam.

Cahsee • As a 10th grader- California High School Exit Exam- March 17th and 18th, 2015 • Untimed test • Score scale: 275-450 (passage is a 380 score- proficient) • ELA (79 multiple choice questions/ essay, Math- 92 multiple choice questions) • Simon Tech- Last Year (95% Math, 82% ELA- passage rate) • ALL students must pass in order to receive a high school diploma (COC)

  4. “Mocking” the Cahsee • Less questions/ no essay for ELA • Timed- April 30th, 2014- (4 hours total) • Score scale: -70% or higher for math to “TEST-OUT” of Cahsee Prep and/or get recommended for Honors course.

  6. English Language Arts • First 2 hours of the day. • 40 Multiple-choice questions . • 9th and 10th grade standards.

  7. Mathematics • Second 2 hours of the day. • 51 Multiple-choice questions. • 6th, 7th, and 8th grade standards.

  8. What to bring/ Remember: • Pencil • Book • Be ON time! • Take it seriously, will determine your class schedule for next year. Also college transcripts.
