  1. CONFLICT By Kate

  2. Big question: Who was Hitler as a leader? • Adolf Hitler was born in April 20th 1889- and he died on April 30th 1945 so he was 56 years and 10 days old when he died. Adolf Hitler was the leader of Germany from 1933-1945. So he was in the war for 12 years! He was a bad man who wanted to make Germany a better place. By doing that he killed thousands of Jews which he thought he was much better then. By destroying the Jews he bought disgrace to Germany and himself. He killed the Jews by putting them into buildings where gas would pour out of the ceiling. The Jews thought they were taking a bath-though some of them knew what was going to happen- and they eventually got gassed. He was the man that was the cause of WWII. If he had died before the war then it probably would not have happened.

  3. What happened to Hitler • Hitler killed himself: He did not kill himself because he felt ashamed, he killed himself because he feared of being caught. He didn’t fell ashamed off killing the Jews because he thought he was right about gassing them. He thought he was so much better than them so he wanted to get rid if them. Apparently he shot himself in his mouth and he basically drunk the poison. Everyone is pleased that he is not around now!

  4. What were the weapons used in world war 2? • Tanks-used lightly in ww2 but a major part for the soldier in that war. • Submarine- had been around for 100 years by then. The Germans used them most. • Radar- not a weapon exactly but still a major system that not only showed aircraft but also pointed out submarines. • Auto-mobiles, guns and riffles, u-boats and many more.

  5. Who was Anne Frank? • Born on June 12, 1929, Anne Frank was a German-Jewish teenager who was forced to go into hiding during the war so she didn’t get gassed. She and her family, along with four others, spent 25 months during World War II in an annex of rooms above her father’s office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. After being betrayed to the Nazis, Anne, her family, and the others living with them were arrested and set out to Nazi concentration camps. In March of 1945, nine months after she was arrested, Anne Frank died of being gassed. She was fifteen years old. She was writing a diary when she first went into hiding.

  6. Who was the oldest and youngest Jews gassed? • Hitler was a terrible man and he gassed all the Jews that he could but who was the oldest and youngest gassed? Let’s see: the youngest was 9 and the oldest was 96
