  3. There is a ”mold-bomb” ticking behind many of the new-built house facings. The risk-zone includes 95% of all houses with parget facing built during the last ten years. 35% of the parget facings built during the last ten years need to be replaced due to damages from damp. Zenergy SIP removes the problem with damp and mold damages • Zenergy SIP is completely in-organic and cannot grow mold. • It’s a building material in line with the changing building standards. • Other insulating materials on the market have a λ-value of approx. 0,037 W/m°C, while Zenergy’s insulating material has 0,023 W/m°C • This results in either a reduced energy loss with the same wall thickness......or the same insulating capabilites with thinner walls and less transported material.

Swedish small houses have the potential to reduce the energy losses through walls with 52% • Small houses have an average U-value of 0,334 W/m2°C whereas Zenergy SIP has a U-value of 0,16 W/m2°K • Small houses used 31,5 TWh for heating and hot water in 2008 • Zenergy SIP is 52 % more effective than the current standard walls in small houses • Source: Swedish Energy Board • Using the estimation that 15% of the energy is lost through the walls, 2,46 TWh would have been saved in the small houses if they had been built with Zenergy SIP
