Metrology: Objectives In the frame of the SIM Regional Proficiency Assessment Program in Metrology in Chemistry and attempting a broad participation of SIM members: • to assess the capability of SIM NMIs / designated laboratories in chemical measurements • to identify needs and ways of improvements of measurements capabilities of NMIs • to facilitate measurement comparability among SIM NMIs • to document the CMC of NMIs

  6. Metrology: Support to following Instruments Applicated by and in close co-operation with the SIM MWG 8 “Chemistry“ • intercomparisons • workshops • qualification of regional reference laboratories • chemical measurements CMC database • planning, executing, monitoring and co-ordination

Accreditation • Expected result: • IAAC-MLA is implemented • Systems for the systematic use of regional ressources are installed and functioning (Evaluators and experts, PT and comparisons) • Instruments: • Training (Peer evaluators) • Development of regional systems and databases • Consultancies
