  3. ARCHAELOGY/HISTORY In 1990 the democratic justice party emrged with two smaller parties to form the democratic liberal party. The separate governments of south Korea and north Korea were formed in 1948. The Korea war started in 1950 and ended in 1953 (Noth Korea invaded south Korea) Before the 1900’s the people of what is now l south Korea lived in an agriculture society built on strong family ties.
