University Library Mission The Library's main responsibility is to serve the study, teaching, and research work of the University by the aid of collecting and systematizing the literature, focusing on the specialized curriculum of the institution and to provide the students, lecturers, tutors and employees with up-to-date information service

University Library Eligibility for access to the Library Documents required for registration: • Valid identity card/driving-licence, for non-Hungarian citizens: passport or residence permit • student ID for students Library cards are valid in every library units of the Óbuda University. Registration is free for students, librarians, employees of the University.

  13. University Library Registration & Circulation & Renewal A valid library card is needed for loaning books. The library card is not transferable to any other person Length of borrowing is 30 days. Patrons are informed on deadlines at circulation. Before the expire date an e-mail is sent to remind the patron of the need for renewal. Renewal is possible by phone, personally, via e-mail, or through the OPAC (catalogue) of the library. For the renewal the bar code of the library card is needed.We always answer e-mails asking for renewal.
